Louis C.K. Plots Two Exclusive Netflix Stand-Up Specials

Louis C.K. will premiere two new stand-up comedy specials exclusively on Netflix. The first, titled 2017, was filmed in Washington D.C. and will debut April 4th in all Netflix territories. C.K.'s last stand-up special was 2015's Louis C.K. Live From the Comedy Store filmed at the iconic Los Angeles club.

In addition to his stand-up work, C.K. has been juggling numerous film and TV projects. Last year, he voiced the lead role in 3-D animated movie The Secret Life of Pets. He debuted the dark comedy series Horace and Pete. He also  co-created, wrote and produced two FX comedies Better Things and Baskets, with Pam Adlon and Zach Galifianakis, respectively.

C.K. will voice the character Lou on the upcoming animated series The Cops. The show, which stars the comedian and Albert Brooks as two Los Angeles patrolmen, recently earned a 10-episode order and will premiere in 2018.
