KLP (Kristy Lee Peters) dropped by the Rolling Stone office to play an acoustic version of her dance track "Changes". More than a triple-threat, the producer, songwriter, vocalist, DJ, and Triple J's host of House Party and resident dance expert, has a lot going on. KLP earned her musical stripes winning Triple J's Unearthed Field Day Competition in 2013 with "Down South". Since then, she's worked on collaborations with artists (Just a Gent and Slumberjack), honed her DJing skills and launched her own record label to release her latest single, "Changes", on.
For the live version of "Changes", KLP lost the production, synths and beats, performing with just a guitarist. It's a more mellow offering that honours the original with it's ebbs and flows of energy and rhythm.
KLP is touring Hobart, Devonport and Canberra in July; details here.
