First up were the promising Felix Lush, definitely one of the best-dressed bands on the scene at the moment. Their new-wave tinged indie pop had the crowd dancing early, before BANFF soothed the room with their delicate, stripped-back harmonies (including a moving version of Band Of Horses' "Is There A Ghost").
I Know Leopard filled every inch of the stage with synths and amps to provide the dense walls of sound on their new tracks. The crowd reacted with gusto to the new numbers and past hits like "Perfect Picture", dancing like it wasn’t a school night. Mid-set, it was announced that it was bassist Rosie’s birthday, resulting in a hearty "Happy Birthday" singalong from the crowd and the already hedonistic vibe kicked up a notch for the remainder of the set.
