This morning it has been announced that Neil Young has been added to the 2017 Bluesfest line-up. In confirming the appearance, organisers said that Young — who will be partnered by his Promise of the Real band — is booked to play a three-hour set at the Byron Bay festival.
Young joins the initial line-up that was revealed back in August, which included Patti Smith, Zac Brown Band, The Lumineers, Billy Bragg and more, as well as recently announced fellow headliners Santana and Mary J. Blige.
Seemingly not ready to settle on their successes just yet, Bluesfest director Peter Noble has also promised a fourth artist announcement on Sunday, October 9th. Although tight-lipped Noble says "it's another beauty".
Tickets for the Easter long weekend festival are available now via their official website.
