For the third straight week, Pink's Beautiful Trauma is on top of the ARIA album chart. This week the pop-star (who is also currently on the cover of Rolling Stone Australia) sees off debuts from rapper 360 (#3), Chris Brown (#5) and Kelly Clarkson (#6), as well as one of the first festive LPs of the season — Hanson's Finally It's Christmas (#7).
Around these debuts, Ed Sheeran's Divide continues to be the chart force of 2017, up one spot to #2 in its 35th week since release. Meanwhile, Niall Horan's solo debut is down just two spots from last week's #2 debut and Jessica Mauboy's latest, The Secret Daughter Season Two, slips just one spot to #8 for its fourth week in the top ten.
For 360, the #3 debut of Vintage Modern falls one spot short of his previous peak (2014's Utopia) and one better than 2011's Falling & Flying. The redemptive new LP largely focuses on 360's public struggle with drug addiction, while the rapper recently told Rolling Stone that the album's is primarily "not so much about me, [but] more how I see society."
Following a scattering of shows ahead of the release of the new album (including an intimate set at Live Lodge 2017), 360 will return to the stage towards the end of summer for a run of headline dates.
Over the next few weeks, Pink will face a few heavy-hitmakers as the final big releases of the year land on the shelves. First up: Sam Smith, with his new LP The Thrill Of It All.
