Pop artist Pink has backed up last week's #1 debut, with her latest LP, Beautiful Trauma, seeing off debuts from former One Direction vocalist Niall Horan, Florida metallers Trivium and the latest Hillsong release.
Horan's first solo LP, Flicker, is the highest of the new entries, starting at #2, two spots ahead of Trivium's The Sin And The Sentence, the band's fifth straight top ten ARIA album chart result, matching their previous peak (2008's Shogun).
Meanwhile, Pink's chart dominance carries over to ticket sales for her 2018 Australia/NZ tour. This morning it was announced that a fourth show has been added for Perth, alongside two additional Melbourne dates — with now eleven shows scheduled for Rod Laver arena. The tour, starting early July, now features 33 shows; full run of dates available here.
Next week, Pink's tri-peat effort will be challenged by Vintage Modern, the latest from Melbourne rapper 360, who'll be aiming to go one better than 2014's Utopia, which peaked at #2.
