Fresh off the back of their Q&A discussion at last week's Bigsound, legendary Sydney rockers The Church have just announced that they'll be releasing their 25th (!) studio album. Further/Deeper will be out on October 17, proceeded by the first single, a space voyage ballad entitled "Pride Before A Fall".

To celebrate the release, the band have announced they'll be performing the new album in full at a handful of intimate gigs, before returning to the road for a few regional festival appearances and a special show at the ACMI in Melbourne where they'll be performing the score of the Jean Cocteau play The Blood Of A Poet.
