Video Premiere: Darren Hanlon 'The Chattanooga Shoot Shoot'

"Basically I was on a bus traveling back to Nashville and just as we pulled out of the Chattanooga pick-up stop the bus was shot 6 times from a passing car which almost blew us all to pieces. But no one was hurt, thankfully", songwriter Darren Hanlon explains of the real life story behind album track "The Chattanooga Shoot Shoot".

The song's clip — which features cameos from Dick Diver members, The Saturday Paper editor Eric Jenson and Glen Walton from The Suitcase Royale — follows Hanlon's own recall of the events, his trademark colloquial poet narration finding small pockets of humour amidst the scary, unfolding scene.

"The Chattanooga Shoot Shoot" features on Hanlon's magnificent new record Where Did You Come From?, with the launch tour continuing tonight in Adelaide. Ticket's available via Darren's website.
