Watch Killing Heidi Perform Stripped-Back Version of 'Mascara'

More

Following a run of festival appearances in late-2016 and recent Melbourne Zoo gig, Melbourne's Killing Heidi are set to venture out on their first headline tour in a decade, this June.

The announcement coincides with news the alt-rock band's 2000 breakout debut Reflector is now available digitally for the first time. Along with spawning hit singles "Weir" and "Mascara" — both of which cracked the top 20 in 1999's Hottest 100 countdown, featuring at #2 and #14 respectively — the album also took out four ARIA awards as well as being certified four times platinum.

The band recently stopped by the Rolling Stone Office for a special stripped-back take of "Mascara". The guitar-only assembly giving ample space to vocalist Ella Hooper's reflective, angst-driven lyrics, with her claims that "just wearing black won't take care of that" sounding as commanding as ever.

The band's headline tour, which also coincides with their 20th anniversary performing together, kicks off on June 2nd. Tickets are available now via Live Nation.
